Maldivian passport holders can travel to the United Arab Emirates starting from tomorrow.
State minister at the Foreign Minister Ahmed Khaleel said that all passport holders of Maldives can travel to UAE without a visa starting from tomorrow and the airlines have been informed as well.
After the Foreign Minister Abdullah Shahid’s official visit to UAE, he announced that soon a visa free regime will be established between UAE and Maldives.
Meanwhile the government is also talking with the government of India to make visa regulations lenient on Maldivians.
