The government has decided to close some streets of Male’ for vehicles on Fridays. Housing Ministry plans to close streets from 6:30 am to 10:00 am on Fridays.
Ali Shamin the deputy minister of Housing Ministry stated that in the first phase 10 streets will be closed. However he did not reveal any further details.
He stated that the streets will be closed in a way which will not disrupt the traffic flow as well.
