Acting Commissioner of Police Mohammed Hameed have said that Maldives Police Service will request the Prosecutor General’s counsel to investigate the video which shows the blast of Presidential launch Finifenma.
CP Hameed made this statement while talking to PSM saying that now there are two versions of the video circulating, one which was aired by Sangu TV few days ago. Hameed said that police will start a new investigation only if the PG advised to do so or if the courts orders to do so.
After the second video was aired by Sangu TV, supporters of former Vice President Adheeb called to re-investigate the case since fire was not visible in the video. Adheeb is currently in prison for his role in the Finifenma launch blast.
