Elections Commission of the Maldives has issued permission to proceed with the registration process of Sheikh Mohamed Didi’s National Reform Party.
EC announced the decision on twitter earlier today. National Reform Party’s founder is Sheikh Mohammed Didi who was a state minister at the Islamic Ministry in President Yameen’s administration.
To be officially registered at the Elections Commission, the party must get 3000 members and hold a congress which is approved by the Elections Commission.
