Dr.Hussein Faaiz has been appointed as the secretary general of the Supreme Court of the Maldives.
Dr.Faaiz was an undersecretary at the president’s office in the previous administration.
The SG’s responsibilities include ensuring that the administrative work of the Supreme Court is being conducted in accordance with the policies set by the judges and forming other policies related to issues which are assigned to the SG. In addition, the SG is also responsible in making strategic plans for the development of the judiciary.
