An ambulance driver in Hulhumale’ has been arrested for driving under the influence of drugs.
A police media official stated that illegal drugs were found on his person as well. The incident occurred two nights ago.
He drove the ambulance to IGMH with a patient and the police at the hospital arrested him after he was found acting suspiciously.
Maldives Police Service is now investigating the matter.
