Ministry of Home Affairs has officially joined the campaign started by the president office to stop the use of single-use plastic bottles.
Starting from today all staffs of Home Ministry will use glass bottles instead of plastic bottles.
Speaking at a ceremony held to launch the program at the ministry, Home Minister Imran said that this is related to the safety of the whole world. He also said that this was related to the economy of the Maldives and it is an obligation on everyone to reduce plastic.
Home Minister Imran requested everyone to pay special attention to the matter.
