Sri Lankan Airlines has decided to stop operating to Gan International Airport.
The local representative for the airline is Ace Aviation Services. According to the MD of the company the airline will stop operating on April 2019. He said that they had to cease the operations due to the many challenges they face at the airport.
Sri Lankan Airlines began operating to Gan on 1st December 2016. Since then the airline has been operating three flights per week to Addu.
