Former President Maumoon has stated that Maumoon Reform Movement will continue to support President Ibrahim Mohammed Solih.
President Maumoon tweeted tonight saying that MRM will work tirelessly towards strengthening the 4-party coalition and that he will continue to support the president in safeguarding the rule of law and good governance in Maldives.
Meanwhile disputes have begun between JP and MDP the two major parties of the ruling coalition. MDP plans to run for all the constituencies in the upcoming parliamentary elections which is against the agreement they made with JP prior to the elections. JP has stated that they are now open to making coalitions with other parties to win the parliamentary elections.
