Maldivian, the national airline has dismissed Mohammed Ameen the director of flight operations at Maldivian.
He was removed from his position after many pilots threatened to go on strike today. Many pilots applied for sick leave yesterday. After Maldivian dismissed Ameen form his position, the pilots showed up for work.
Speaking to the media, some pilots claimed that Ameen discriminates among the pilots and does not address any of their concerns.
Ameen has been working as the director of flight operations for a decade now.
