Ooredoo Maldives has earned 148 million Rufiyaa as profit in the last quarter of 2018.
A financial statement published by the company shows that they made 481 million Rufiyaa as revenue in the last quarter of which 148 million Rufiyaa was profit.
This is an increase of 28% compared to the third quarter of the year. In the third quarter of the year, Ooredoo made 115 million Rufiyaa as profit. When compared to the last quarter of 2017, it was an increase of 5 percent.
Ooredoo began providing telecommunication services in the Maldives in the year 2005. It is a Qatari company and they began providing services under the name Wataniyya. Later the company was rebranded.
Ooredoo introduced new digital services in the Maldives this year. Those includes Digital Resorts, Amazon Prime Videos and tourist sim packages.
