Prime Minister of Malaysia Mahathir Mohammed has invited former President Maumoon to Malaysia.
In a press conference held by MRM, the spokesperson of MRM announced that the former President will be travelling to Malaysia on an invitation by the Malaysian Prime Minister.
MRM will officially begin the campaign for parliamentary elections once Maumoon returns from his trip to Malaysia.
In addition to Maumoon, senior figures of MRM will take part in the trip. Maumoon is a close friend of the Malaysian Prime Minister.
