Former President of the Maldives, Mohammed Nasheed has returned to the Maldives from his trip to India.
He left for India on last Tuesday on an invitation from Jawahirlaal Nehru University. He delivered a speech at a conference organized by the university.
During the trip he met with the Indian External Affairs Minister Sushma Suwaraj and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
In his meeting with the Indian PM, he discussed matters of mutual interest including climate change, terrorism and concerns of Maldives falling into a debt trap.
