Transport Minister Aishath Nahula has stated that free helmets will be given to those who complete traffic awareness course conducted by the government. She made this statement while speaking on Rajje Miadhu program of Public Service Media last night.
The minister said that the course will be 4 hours long and will include components on what to do in case of an accident and also some first aid components. She said that the ministry is preparing the course now.
She said that those who want the helmet should submit their names and complete the course to get the helmet. The ministry did not announce the date of the course yet.
