Director General of Department of Examination Ahmed Shakeeb and his wife Umniya Musthafa who also worked in the same department has been transferred to another section.
Shakeeb was changed to the head of National Institute of Education. He served as the head of DPE for 11 years. Umniya was transferred to the policy department of the Education Ministry.
They couple were transferred to other sections after many staffs complained that they have undue influences on other staffs of the department.
However Education Ministry states that they did not take action against Shakeem and it was done in order to make the ministry more efficient.
A source at the ministry says that Shakeeb discriminated other staffs against his wife and complaints about his wife were note investigated.
