Maldives Police Service has begun investigating Ahmed Nasgovernor of Maldives Monetary Authority.
According to Maldives Police Service, he is being investigated after a complaint was lodged at the police.
The former head of MMA’s Financial Intelligence United lodged complaints against Naseer at the police, parliament and the board of MMA stating that Naseer was misusing his position.
Ashraf said that Naseer instructed not to report high profile cases during the 2018 presidential elections.
