Transport Minister Aishath Nahula has requested to vote for capable candidates in the upcoming parliamentary elections.
The minister made this statement while speaking at a campaign event of former Vice President Dr.Mohammed Jameel Ahmed. The former VP is contesting for Villingili constituency in the upcoming elections.
“I request to choose capable candidates. I do not believe in choosing a specific color” said the minister.
In addition she said that the candidates should familiarize themselves with their constituents.
The minister noted that Dr.Jameel is a capable candidate and that he can bring development to the constituency. She said that among the candidates who are contesting for the seat, Jameel will be the winner.
