A light drizzle was observed in Male’ during yesterday’s Istisqa prayer.
Maldives Meteorological Center confirmed that there was a drizzle at 12:45 pm yesterday. The Istisqa prayer was led by Dr.Mohammed Iyaz Abdul Latheef.
Since, then heavy rainfall has been observed all over the country.
Salat Al-Istisqa is performed by Muslims asking for rainfall.
