Maldives Transporting and Contracting Company MTCC has begun speed ferry services in Ha and Hdh atoll.
The service is a trial project of the company. In this trial period, ferries will connect Hdh Hanimaadhoo, Hdh Kulhudhuhfushi and Ha.Dhidhoo.
The company stated that once the trial period is over, they will determine a permanent route for the ferries. The price of a ticket ranges from 150 to 250 Rufiyaa.
At the moment MTCC provides ferry service between Male’-Hulhumale’ and Male’-Villigili. The company also ferry services in other atolls as well.
