Indian High Commission in the Maldives has stated that India will develop a world class cricket stadium in Hulhumale’ and help to train players.
According to the High Commission, the decision was made in the recent visit by Indian Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj, to the Maldives.
President Solih visited India yesterday to attend a cricket match and his delegation met with the Cricket Board of India to discuss about the stadium to be built in Hulhumale’.
India helps to develop cricket in the Maldives even now.
