A young man has died in an accident that happened in Addu City today.
The young man was riding a motor bike and a speeding van hit the motorist as he was trying to enter the WAMCO office near the waste collection center of Hithadhoo.
Nabeel Ibrahim, who passed away in the accident is a staff of WAMCO. The speeding van belongs to MediCity a clinic in Feydhoo.
According to Hithadhoo Regional Hospital a man and a woman who were injured in the accident were brought to the hospital around at 1430 hours today and the man passed away while under going treatment. Meanwhile the woman is recovering now and is not in a serious condition.
