The state prosecutors have requested the Supreme Court to nullify the jail verdict on former Vice President Ahmed Adheeb for possession of a pistol.
Adheeb was sentenced to 10 years in jail regarding the case.
Speaking at the appeal hearing held at the Supreme Court today, the state lawyers explained why they want to nullify the verdict.
They said that the testimony of the witnesses does not prove that the former vice president had a pistol.
