ADK Hospital’s managing director Ahmed Afaal have stated that the hospital will help in anyway they can to help to train Maldivian nurses.
Afaal said that even now the hospital assists Maldivian Nursing Association whenever they request for help. In addition, he noted that the hospital has agreed to conduct the practical sessions of the nursing students of Villa College at the hospital.
He also highlighted that there are many foreign nurses in the Maldives and stressed on the need for Maldivian nurses. Afaal said that this is a very important sector for the Maldives.
ADK Hospital provides the same amount of salary and allowances to Maldivian and foreign nurses.
