Government of India has given MVR 7,806,900 to develop an international convention center in AA Ukulhas.
The Foreign Ministry of Maldives announced that out of the MVR 100 million committed to Maldives by India, MVR 7.8 million will be used to developed an international convention center in AA.Ukulhas.
The purpose of the center is to conduct conferences and to complement the growing guest house industry in the island.
