Indian Ambassador to the Maldives H.E Sanjay Sudheer has paid a courtesy call on the speaker of the Majlis President Nasheed.
The meeting was held at the parliament house of the Maldives. However no details of the meeting was revealed by the parliament or the Indian Embassy in the Maldives.
Meanwhile, in the 2nd sitting of the 19th parliament, the parliament passed to invite Indian PM Narendra Modi to address the Maldivian parliament.
