Male’ City Council has banned the use of vehicles in Male’ on Eid and the day after Eid.
According to a statement issued by the City Council, motorized vehicles should not be used from 1600 hours till 1830 hours on Eid and the day after Eid.
The council took decision to allow people to enjoy Eid with their families without the disturbance from motorized vehicles.
For the past few year, use of vehicles have been banned on Eid and some other public holidays.
