Islamic Ministry has stated that 4th June 2019 will be Eid al-Fitr of this year and 1st of Shawwaal.
According a statement made by the ministry, as the moon has been sighted in many Islamic countries, Maldives has also decided to consider tomorrow as Eid.
Eid-Al Fitr is one of the two Eids celebrated by Muslims around the world. Some sunnahs of Eid includes attending the Eid prayer in congregations, eating odd number of dates before attending the prayer, wearing the best clothes you have and exchanging eid greetings.
