L.Fonadhoo Council has dismantled a house that was built inside forest of the island which was being used to commit various crimes.
According to Maldives Police Service, various crimes such as selling and using of drugs, prostitution and eating during the day in Ramadan were committed in this house.
Maldives Police Service provided security while the council removed the house. However the police did not reveal whether they arrested anyone regarding the matter.
Recently Maldives Police Service raided some houses in Male’ which were used to sell drugs and conduct other types of crimes.
