State Trading Organization STO has reduced the price of diesel and petrol.
Starting from today, 78 laari will be deducted from per liter of diesel and 26 laari will be reduced from per liter of petrol. Hence a petrol liter from fuel shed will be MVR 11.13 and a diesel liter will be MVR 11.19.
According to STO, the price was reduced because it dropped in the global markets as well.
