Asia Counter Terrorism Leaders Forum, which is organized by Maldives Police Service and Australian Federal Police has begun.
The forum was inaugurated by Commissioner of Police Mohammed Hameedh this morning at Iskandhar Koshi.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, the Commissioner of Police condemned terrorist attacks and talked about the importance of working together to deter terrorism in South Asia.
The ceremony was attended by Deputy Commissioner of Police Abdul Manaan Yousuf,Gland Mcaven the Asia Regional Manager of Australian Federal Police , acting commander Paula Hudson, senior liaison officer Stuart Allan and other senior officials.
The forum will take place from 17th to 19th June. Representatives from Maldives, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Myanmar, Afghanistan and Australia are taking part in the forum.
