Vice President of the Maldives, Faisal Naseem has launched speed ferry service in Ha.Ihavandhoo.
This ferry service will link the island to some islands in HA and HDH atoll.
In his visit to the island the Vice President also met with the council of the island and discussed about the various challenges the islanders are facing. The council highlighted some problems such as waste management, harbor and about expansion of the services offered by the council.
Vice President Faisal Naseem stated that the purpose of his visit is to work together with the people and that the government will prioritize issues which are important to people.
