20 city council members from Addu, Male and other councils of Maldives will depart to China this weekend.
Chinese Ambassador to Maldives Zhang Lizhong tweeted saying that the council members will spend 20 days in China. He said that the trip was a capacity building trip.
The participants will spend 20 days in the city of Nanchang of China.
Council members, and civil servants are often invited to go on capacity building and exposure trips to various Chinese cities.
