Judicial Service Commission has decided to investigate a disciplinary issue of Justice Adam Arif.
Adam Arif was a judge at the Criminal Court who was recently changed to the drug court.
In addition to Adam Arif, JSC is investigating four other magistrates as well. According to the director of the Judicial Service Commission, the magistrates are Hussen Rasheed (magistrate of Fuvahmulaku Court, Hassan Didi (magistrate of Kanduhulhudhoo court), Ainan Ali Mohamed (magistrate of K.Thulusdhoo) and Adnan Hussein the magistrate of Maakuratha court.
JSC requested all investigative authorities to inform them if they are investigating any judges or magistrates.
