Health Ministry has stated that the influenza prevalence rate is increasing in the Maldives these days.
A statement by the ministry has stated that reported cases of influenza is on the rise and the most commonly reported influenza is influenza B.
IGMH has opened a 24 hour flu clinic due to the increase in reported cases of influenza.
The ministry advised to take precautionary measures as influenza and colds spread easily.
