Maldives Meteorological Center has issued a white alert from Kaafu Atoll to Laamu Atoll.
According to MET office, islands in this region will experience heavy rain with thunder and winds from 45 miles per hour.
The alert will be effective from 1530 hours till 2130 hours.
In addition according to MET office, various other islands will experience rainfall these days.
