Government of Maldives has signed a loan agreement with the World Bank.
Under the agreement World Bank will provide 15 million dollars as aid and 15 million dollars as a concessional loan.
Finance Minister Ibrahim Ameer signed the agreement on behalf of the government while Idha Swarai Reedio the country director of World Bank to Sri Lanka and Maldives signed on behalf of the World Bank.
The funds from the loan will be used to development the public finance framework and in pandemic emergencies.
