President Ibrahim Mohammed Solih has nominated former Finance Minister Ali Hashim as the governor of Maldives Monetary Authority (MMA).
President’s spokesperson Ibrahim Hoodh tweeted today saying that the president has sent Hashim’s name to the parliament.
Hashim was the finance minister during former President Nasheed’s administration from 2008 to 2010.
