Food and Drug Authority has banned selling Zantac without prescription in Maldives. Center for Health of USA has revealed that a substance in the medicine leads to cancer.
Many countries have stopped the sale of the medicine without prescription. Zantac is often used for gastric problems and heart burns.
FDA of USA, and European Drug Regulators found that Zantac and all other generic medicine of this type contains a substance which leads to cancer.
