Chief of Army Staff of India General Bipin Raawath has arrived in the Maldives today.
He was welcomed at Velana International Airport by Chief of Defence Force Major General Abdullah Shamal, Vice Chief of Defence Force Brigadier General Abduh Raheem and other senior officials of MNDF.
He is in the Maldives on a 6 day long visit and is set to meet President Ibrahim Mohammed Solih, Defense Minister Mariya Didi and Major General Abdullah Shamal. In addition he will met some other ministers as well.
General Bipin will also visit the Northern Area Headquarters of MNDF in Lh.Maafilaafushi.
