A Swedish tourist has been killed in capsized boat accident.
The speed boat was travelling near Dh.Kuda Huvadhoo when it capsized. According to Maldives Police Service, they received reports of the overturned boat at 16:10 hours on Sunday. A total of 6 men were onboard the boat when it capsized. They were two Maldives and four foreigners who were tourists.
The Swedish tourist passed away while he was being treated at Kulhudhuhfushi regional hospital.
Police says that the boat capsized after hitting a reef.
