Islamic Ministry of the Maldives has instructed all the mosques to recite Qunooth Naazila after Maqrib, Isha and Fajr.
Qunooth Nazila is recited during times of calamities. Government ordered to recite Qunooth due to the outbreak of measles and corona virus.
According to Islamic Ministry all the mosques will start reciting Qunooth starting from today.
While the Maldives experienced a measles outbreak which is a disease which has been eradicated before, we should understand that this is a warning from Allah.
