Health Protection Agency of Maldives has issued travel advisory to 7 countries due to the ongoing corona virus outbreak.
A statement by the agency states that they are monitoring the situation closely and that people who did not travel to China or east Asian countries have also contracted the virus.
The agency recommended not to visit 7 countries. They are: Japan, Singapore, Italy, Hong Kong, South Korea, Thailand and Iran.
HPA also advised people who are travelling abroad to seek caution and to contact doctors if they see any symptoms of illnesses.
