Saudi Arabia has suspended Umra pilgrimage over corona virus fear. The government of Saudi Arabia announced that they have temporarily stopped issuing visa for umra pilgrimage.
In addition, they have also stopped air transport between Mecca and Medina. Around 7 million people visits Mecca for Umra pilgrimage.
Corona virus has been found in some middle eastern countries such as Iran and there is a fear that it could spread across the middle east.
