Commissioner General of Customs Numaan dies

Commissioner General of Customs Ahmed Numaan has died today.

According to reliable sources he passed away while undergoing treatment for kidney disease in India. Nooman is a member of Adhalath Party and a strong advocate for a 100 percent Islamic Maldives.

When an EU delegation visited Maldives after President Solih took the oath of office, Numaan told them that there is no space for any other religion in the Maldives. 

Numan was also the former chairman of Fenaka and worked in STELCO and Housing Ministry. He always worked for reform and worked in accordance with the laws. He is known for his discipline and friendly attitude towards everyone.
