President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has today appointed Abdulla Shareef as the Commissioner General of the Maldives Customs Service. The new Commissioner General was presented his letter of appointment at a special ceremony held this morning at the President’s Office. Supreme Court Justice, Uza. Aisha Sujoon Mohamed, presided over the oath-taking component of the ceremony.
Abdulla Shareef had previously been serving as the Deputy Commissioner at Customs. Following his new appointment, he will be serving at the rank of a State Minister.
