The State Electric Company (STELCO) has announced the successful completion of a staff health screening programme held yesterday in collaboration with Hulhumalé Hospital.
The initiative aimed to raise awareness among employees about the importance of maintaining good health, while also assessing their current health status. Staff members were given the opportunity to undergo medical tests and receive essential health information during the event.
STELCO reported that a majority of its employees took part in the programme, reflecting the strong interest in health and wellbeing within the company. The management emphasized that the activity underscores STELCO’s commitment to safeguarding the welfare of its workforce.
The company further stated that similar health screening programmes will be organized in the future as part of its ongoing efforts to promote a healthier workplace.
