Four Seasons Maldives invites aspiring young Maldivians to apply for the country’s longest-running and most respected Hospitality Apprenticeship Programme. Established in 2001, this award-winning initiative has shaped the careers of nearly a thousand Maldivian professionals—many of whom now hold supervisory and managerial positions in leading resorts both locally and abroad. It remains one of the strongest, most trusted pathways for Maldivian youth to gain industry-ready skills, confidence and long-term career opportunities in the world of hospitality.
Fully accredited by the Government of Maldives since 2010, the programme blends hands-on, real-world training with weekly classroom sessions led by industry experts at Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Kuda Huraa and Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Landaa Giraavaru. Apprentices can specialise in a wide range of disciplines, including Food Preparation, Food & Beverage Service, Marine Biology, PADI Divemaster, Watersports, Retail, Resort Photography, Housekeeping & Guest Services, Safe Maritime Transport and more. Participants receive room and board, a monthly stipend, professional mentorship and a supportive environment designed to help them excel.
In addition to the one-year core apprenticeship, outstanding graduates may be selected for the prestigious Second Year Programme in Front Office & Recreation, Engineering or Reservations. Those demonstrating exceptional technical potential may further progress into the Advanced Engineering Programme, offering a deep dive into high-demand technical expertise.
