NESCAFÉ has officially launched NESCAFÉ Superiore Coffee Beans in the Maldives, marking a new milestone for the brand in the country.
The launch took place at 'An Evening with NESCAFÉ', held at Hotel Jen, bringing together Nestlé representatives, distributor partners and key industry stakeholders to reflect on NESCAFÉ’s journey in the Maldives and introduce its latest premium offering.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Dishan Wijayawardena, Assistant Director of Exports at Nestlé Lanka Limited, highlighted how NESCAFÉ has evolved from a global brand into a familiar part of daily life in the Maldives.
The event also featured remarks by Mr. Maduranga Perera, Assistant Director at Nestlé Professional, who shared insights into NESCAFÉ’s continued focus on quality and innovation.
The highlight of the evening was the official unveiling of NESCAFÉ Superiore Beans, crafted from high-quality, 100% Arabica beans sourced from Brazil and Colombia. The product introduces a more refined coffee experience, expanding NESCAFÉ’s portfolio in the Maldivian market.
A symbolic handover ceremony marked the start of local distribution, with Mr. Wijayawardena formally handing over distribution responsibilities to Mr. Amir Mansoor, Managing Director of Lily International Pvt Ltd, the official distributor of NESCAFÉ Superiore Beans in the Maldives.
The evening concluded with a curated coffee tasting experience, allowing guests to sample NESCAFÉ Superiore and engage with baristas.
With this launch, NESCAFÉ reaffirms its commitment to the Maldives, combining global expertise with strong local partnerships to support the country’s evolving coffee culture.
