Deputy leader of the Jumhooree Party, Ameen Ibrahim has stated that saving the nation from foreign political influence is a responsibility of security forces.
Ameen made this remark speaking at last night’s rally of the “Maldivians against tyranny” movement.
He said that the security forces has to play the most important role in protecting the nation from foreign political influence.
Ameen said that the damages done by such foreign influence currently witnessed in the Maldives are all due to negligence of the responsible authorities.
“The President is telling them that they should not be concerned or worried about foreign influence. If not them then who should be concerned? ,” he raised questions.
