Chairman of Hulhumale’ Development Corporation, Hassan Ziyath has said that a local market will be opened in December of this year.
Hassan Ziyath made this remark in reply to a question asked by Miadhu Daily regarding the complaints of the people over the lack of a local market in Hulhumale’.
He said that the local market will be opened near the main bus stand. He said that the people will be easily able to by local products in the market.
He said that there will be no difficulties in opening such a local market as it will not cost much and it does not require a big building.
Ziyath said that a local market was opened for Ramadan and it got a huge support from the people.
In addition to this, Ziyath said that the land reclamation project of Hulhumale’ will be commenced within the month of September.
